Celiac disease do not know paternal side donor insemination?

Okay, after a long and painful few months I was finally given a diagnosis of Celiac disease. For those of you who do not know Celiac is a hereditary condition. It can also do damage with giving the victim no symptoms of having the condition. Therefore, all first and second degree relatives are required to get tested. There is only one problem. I was born through the anonymous form of Donor insemination/artifical insemination. Therefore, my biological father and I have no knowledge of each other. I do not know which saide of the family the disease came from. The test to check for the "celiac gene" is nearly $500. If it is coming from ym paternal side, then I do not want to have to put my entire family through the procress of bloodwork, and endoscopies. If their anyway to find out from the donor bank if my "father" had celiac disease. Or better yet, (anyone who is able to do this, I will create a bunch of black questions for you to answer and automatically vote you best to give the points.) Is there any possible way to use this condition as a way to contact the biological father. I am under 18, that makes it more difficult. I am desperate to find him, please do not just send me to the donor sibling registry. I want to know who my father is so desperately.

Why is my crochet chronically curled?

I have had this problem in the past as well. I find that controlling the tension solves most of the problem. It is important that your stitches stay the same size throughout the project. I usually use the head of the hook as a guide, making sure the loop glides easily over the hook when pulling the yarn through. Also, since you are using single crochet, make sure you chain 1 at the end of each row before turning. Sometimes, it can be easy to place 2 sc in a few stitches without realizing it. Try taking the time to count your stitches each row until you get the hang of it. If you start with 31 chains and sc in the 2 ch from the hook, you should have 30 sc stitches at the end of each row. Also, I have found that sc is often such a tight weave that it doesn't like to lay flat until it has been washed or pieced together. Good luck! Hope this helps.

Ok so my girlfriend got diagnosed with an eating disorder and they want to give her this medication called zoloft thats suppose to stop aniexty and depression. The thing is I really dont like the way these people having been going about treating her at this out patient clinic for her disorder. First off she got out of hospital and was eating really well and wouldve kept doing well if they just kept supporting her ( she has to see them every wednesday) but they threaten her that if she doesnt gain enough weight and actually tell her she has to gain 8 more pounds or whatever or theyll restrict what she can do. Now this may be effective on some patients, however my gf admits she has a problem and does really well when I support her and when they tell her that she needs to gain a set amount of weight it only sets her off and causes her to almost relapse from all the stress. Now to deal with the aniexty from the place they want to give her this drug called zoloft to remove the stress which to me is taking the easy way out for the problem they are causing instead of maybe realizing they are the problem. I dont want her to take the medication because I dont want her to have false emotions from medication and the fact that there is nothing wrong with her and that its this place causing the aniexty.I really dont like what a lot of medications do to teens these days to make them more submissive ether. To be honest I'm not sure what advantage DIG would have over using P32, other than the whole not being radioactive thing. Radiolabels are just so easy to use and have no chance of affecting any biological processes, that if they are an option, I would use them every time.

Blown head gasket or head case?

I just bought a car (1996 Chevy Monte Carlo) and I was doing an oil change and saw that the oil is a creamy color (like coffee with creamer in it). I know enough to know that's not normal, so I asked the guy at the part store what it was. He said it was probably antifreeze/coolant that leaked into the block, which would mean either a blown head gasket, cracked head case, or a blown intake manifold gasket. He said to test is using a compression tester and it should point me to the right problem (and therefore to the right solution). Is this what I would need to do? If it's the head case, how much should something like that cost? I am really hoping its not the head case because I've heard it's really expensive...If it's the head gasket, it should be pretty easy to fix, but what if it's the intake manifold gasket? I looked the price on those and it ranges from about $45 to $90. How much work would it be to do that? I am really disappointed in myself for not checking this before I bought the car (I always do, but for some reason I didn't this time...) but it's too late now and I've got to get this thing fixed...

i would go out and spend a hundred bucks on an interface. that'll let you plug in and usually comes with free software. you can bounce your mix to a wav file, or sometimes even mp3 and then burn a disc, yes. you need an interface to work it like that, a standard mic input on a computer is full of line noise you don't want to hear. my advice is to get a 2 channel interface (your local guitar center has some like this) and wail away. good luck dude.

So at first I had a gory dream with someone dying and you know how in movies they have those times when someone could die horrible but they escape? Dude I Sorta know what you mean and this is a plan that might not work but like you said with your phrase. No one can tell you what to do and if someone says move on and you listen you are stupid :) Basically buddy If i were in your situation then it would be hard but obviously you need to tell her how you feel before you leave.If you can't do it in person or she wont meet you, then write a letter. Not a long 6 page sloppy letter just to let her know that you liked her and you will miss her and post it through her door a week or so before you leave. If she does like you the obvious thing is she will call you and fairy tale will take place but also she may think your a bit wierd. I did the same sort of thing except I knew this girl for two years and I was about to move and I never told her how I felt but I wrote her a short letter and she rang me the same night saying that she thought I was amazing and sweet but she didnt feel the same way (which was fair enough) but she still wanted to keep in contact and we have been meeting up every break from school we get and now we are really good friends. I found a kitten in the middle of nowhere whose moma had abandoned it because its legs were a little messed up (she's fine now though). I saw the moma and she was a scrawny little tabby always beggin for food and kinda looked like a mini puma (she was all yellowish). Anyway, now the kitten is a year old, and she doesn't have the short hair her mom had. It's SUPER long and her tail almost looks like a fox's. Plus, she'll eat anything (I mean LITERALLY. Beware, if you intend to keep the baby fry you should keep a watchful eye on your aquarium, it is not unsual for a livebearer to attempt to eat the baby fry after having them. The fry should be removed from the tank or placed into a seperate area. If you can, though, have the same water in the new tank to minimize the stress on the new fry. My cat just had his Rabbis shots plus boosters, now he is lazy and won't eat?

I say solid color curtains, you don't want too many patterns or it will look cluttered. Once you get the bedding, color match one room green and one room a tan with a yellow tint to it. That way they can have the same bedding but each room will have it's own distinct style. The easiest thing to do it take one of the pillowcases with you to Home Depot or Lowes and they can color match the paint to it. There are so many colors in that bedding the possibilties are endless. Okay, so I have been "together" with this girl for about a month but technically we aren't dating. It depends on how long you go and your style of riding. If you have a bad riding style then your more likely to strain a muscle than someone who has good figure. The standered riding stance is: knees bent, facing outward, almost as if your a cowboy in the wild west about to go into a shootout, (yes i know it sounds childish but its the best explination out there) With a straight back, (Try to imagine that you are squeezing a penny in between your shoulder blades, that helps with the straightness of the back). You also want your centre of m to be over the board, not hanging out over the front or the back of the board, with your head up. These are just a few of the things that is needed for good riding. If any of these things are not done, then injury and strain can, and most likely will happen. My guess is that your freind has a pain in her a) Legs, (that happens from either too straight of lets or too stiff of legs) and b) Back (Most likely from bending over too much while riding) and quite possibly her neck if she had a hard fall.

Unwanted gifts from MIL?

My MIL lives nearby and she offered to make some nursery bedding for my daughter. I helped her pick out the fabric (the theme was animals) and told her the color scheme I wanted (yellow, purple, light blue, and pink). We painted our walls with this scheme. She made a quilt and dust ruffle for the crib. The problem is that she didn't use all the fabric we picked out (she only used the darkest navy blue fabric and made little swaddling blankets out of the light colored in scheme fabric). So, that's fine. We still appreciate the gift and we are using them anyway, but she also made a wall hanging and lamp shade without asking and they are also not in the color scheme. We're using them now too, but nothing in the nursery matches the stuff she made. I'm not trying to sound ungrateful, but all the other stuff I bought clashes with what she made and the wall color doesn't match either. I'm wondering how long I need to wait before I "re-do" the nursery without hurting her feelings. A year? Two years? What would be a good time frame? Since she's nearby, I can't just take down the wall hanging and lamp without her noticing. Thanks.

Hi Lee, sorry to hear your predicament, contrary to opinion the so called freeze plugs are not designed to fallout during freezing conditions, they are actually galley plugs used in the manufacure of engines when cast, It is indeed hard to tell if your problem is related to engine damage or just cold temp. most engines with leaky cooling systems will start and run momentarily, you need to warm the engine to thaw the coolant and see if it goes into your crankcase or oilpan, check the dipstick for elevated level. If it should start after thaw, check oil for color changes, milky or creamy colors indicate coolant contamination, implies cracks in head or block. Make sure your battery is amply charged and use a starting fluid to aid in startup to complete your diagnostic. Hope this helps you...good luck

Hi all. Basically I'm a nurse (25 years old) and like many others have been scrimping and saving to try and get a mortgage and a place of my own. Currently I am living with my parents and whilst they are lovely and I'm very grateful for all of their help I would love a bit more space and a place of my own. I also met someone a while ago (an IT technician) and we have talked about maybe getting a place together if things are still going well in a year or so. However he has barely any savings at present. So far I have only aculated about �5000 for a deposit and property prices around here are expensive (a reasonable one bedroom flat alone is about �110,00); and more and more mortgage lenders are wanting 15-20% deposit. Ideally as well I'd love a house but on a mortgage basis that would be completely unrealistic around here, and so it would probably just end up being a small flat. The question is do you think I should save a bit longer and try and get a mortgage, or give up until the market improves and just rent somewhere in the meanwhile, even though I know it'll be difficult to save if I'm having to pay rent / bills. I'm so confused at the moment. I know it's sad but I spend hours looking at property prices and am so frustrated. My dog has a Vet phobia..?

My 3 y.o. Labrador is beautifully trained, good natured, and in every way normal and happy. However, when it comes to going to the vet for her immunisations etc, she goes crazy, acts like a different dog, and refuses to go through the door. It is so embarring as I have to literally CARRY (all 37 kgs of her) in, where she then sits cowering and trembling. I have even tried tricking her by going to a different Vet, but she acted the same. Is my dog not getting enough food?

i can feel his ribs slightly, and when he lays on his side i can feel the bottom part of his ribcage. i feed him but, my other 2 dogs (small terriors). the dog with the problem is a shelton sheppeard. hes a medium sized dog i guess. hes fed but the 2 fat littel small dogs eat his food then run over and eat there own. i hope they both die. how can i get my dog to eat better, hes afraid to eat now most of the time because the other dogs bite him when he tries to. i cant get my mom to discipline her dogs and let my dog eat, she loves them to much. im getting close to beating them half to death when she isnt home. is it normal to feel his ribs a littel, i tried grabing onto his fat but he has nothing to pull up ( i try to squeeze some skin between my fingers and see how much slack it has but i can only get it up like a centimeter ... u know what i mean).

I am not African American, nor have I ever used any racial slur towards any race, but I was curious because someone I was talking to today referred to black people as colored. It offended me, b/c I have several friends who are black, and I don't see them as "colored", just darker skinned. Should I reschedule my son's birthday party?

My son was sick on Wednesday and is feeling better but still is congested and has laryngitis - as well as me! He has a birthday party tomorrow and I was thinking about moving it to another weekend. I talked with the party guys and they said the next opening was 6 weeks away and at a bad time slot. I was thinking about just rescheduling til after the holidays. My husband and I debate about this every winter.
