Liberal, Conservative... does either word have relevance in the current political Landscape of the U.S. ?

Both have largely become meaningless labels that rubes in the public adopt to "fit in." We have a duopoly that uses the pretense of opposing parties to con the public into supporting a corrupt system of government that is essentially a protection racket. The three main activities on Capitol Hill are posturing, pandering, and influence peddling. The sort of drivel you read here on Y/A shows that the Kool aid continues to sell. H.L.Mencken said it best, "No politician ever went wrong underestimating the intelligence of the American people."
