Which ets are deemed for equal disbursement?

In my Uncle's will it states his monetary ets are to be divided equally between five people, me being one of them. I am also the primary beneficiary of a CD and beneficiary of an account at his bank. Do these monies go into the "pot" before it is divided between the five of us? Or since he listed me as beneficiary is it considered independent of the ets which are to be divided? By the way, I'm also the executor.
