How come Obama is in direct violation of The War Powers Resolution of 1973, Libya did not attack us?

What he is referring to the War Powers resolution of 1973 is actually a congressional law which does not override our Constitution. Therefore, one could agree that this resolution is unconstitutional. Now had the US invaded Libya or implemented the "No Fly" zone on its own without Congressional approval, then that would have been an act of war, and without Congressional approval would be considered a misuse of power on the part of the President. This current action has UN approval and under International law isn't consider an act of war. Our allies and the Libyans asked for some istance from the world community and a majority of House and Senate members supported the US participation in the air strikes. Should it come to a time that the "No Fly" strategy isn't working and ground troops are needed, and the Libyan people request such an act, and the US wants to participate, then the President along with the House and Senate will decide.
