Is John McCain a flip flopper?

I actually just read that article. Yesterday he had "full confidence" in her objectivity but today he "wished we had known about this." Both campaigns had to approve Ifil for this debate and her book was announced om July 23rd. Why are they acting as if they never knew? Ifil works for Jim Leherer who is known for his fairness and impartiality. Sounds like they are simply blaming in advance.
