Anybody think ignorance and entropy are thermodynamically related?

Many questions I answer and answers I see make me wonder. Both entities appear to be increasing, though ignorance seems to obey a power law. Anybody think the social scientists could get a mathematical handle (other than statistical) on how civilizations change?
