Can anyone give me some feedback on this essay i am writing?

What about the notion of it helping people feel "part of the group" that they're giving to if they have something that has the organization or causes' name on it. Example: race for the cure T-shirt, wearing a breat cancer pink ribbon (same cause, sorry), or a coffee cup with the organization, ect
