Is there any danger that the Patent and Trademark Office will give others information contained in my applicat?

They shouldn't, but that doesn't mean someone couldn't screw up, so there is, I suppose, some very, very, very slight "danger". Also, your application will be published 1.5 years after it is filed. Papers other than the application that are filed with the PTO are not available to the public unless and until a patent issues.
