Should I move to Colorado?

My boyfriend who I am madly in love with is in the marines. He is out in November and plans to move back to his family in Colorado. I adore his family and likewise. All of my family is in California,I talk to them but do not get along great with them. Do you think it is a positive choice to move in with them? His family is ecstatic about it and I would love a change.
