Do you know if Minar is a good Muslim name for a girl?

I think I heard a mom calling her daughter Minar and I liked the name. I know the other woman is was born in Palestine, raised in Kuwait and married to an Iraqi so I don't know if the name is regional. Just trying to find out what it means and if it is a name...I may have just misheard.
