My new puppy chews up all my papers. What can I do to deter this behavior?

Get Bitter Apple Spray from Petsmart. Spray a tiny amount in the pups mouth so they get the awful taste, then spray lightly on anything it chews. It'll get the hint quickly. It's harmless to pets & kids. Also have lots of rawhide & Kong toys on hand.
