The Sun moves at 486000 mph, then why doesn't a intra-solar system spaceship have to go faster?

The term "faster" is meaningless unless you state what the motion is relative to. I ume that the speed you quoted is relative to the center of the galaxy. You cannot then suddenly change to an earth-based reference frame without noting it. If you always state what the motion is relative to, then you will avoid confusion.
